We are so excited to host our very first Fun Dog Show, Paws and Applause, at Whispering Willows Homestead! Ever wanted to participate in a competition with your pup? Just for fun? This is it!

We have 12 categories for your dog, allowing two classes per dog to double your chance to win. Read below for more information on categories, prizes, and entry.

There is a $5 entry fee per class expected at check in. Max of two classes per dog.
Adults and Juniors (children under 13 years old) compete separately.

Judges
We have up to four people that volunteered to be judges for the Fun Show. More information will be available closer to the date. They will be judging each category based off of a score chart that we have created!
Juniors (13 and under)
Children under 13 years old will be judged separately from adults so that they can compete with a similar age group. They will receive all of the same prizes described below. This means we will have a Junior version of each Category as well as Junior Best in Show!

Children must be able to safely handle their dog. A parent can assist if needed!
WINNER PRIZES
20% off Gift Certificate at Whispering Whiskers Pet Spa
We will have first, second, and third place flat ribbons to be given out by our table of judges. First Place winners will receive a gift certificate to Whispering Whiskers Pet Spa, and a winners certificate with their dog's name and the category won signed by our judges.

Winner Dogs will then have a chance to win again in Best in Show!
BEST IN SHOW!
Category winners will go on to compete in BEST IN SHOW after all categories are wrapped up. Best in Show will receive a Rosette Ribbon, Winners Certificate, and Gift Certificate for a FREE GROOM at Whispering Whiskers Pet Spa!
People's Choice
Every dog entered will have a chance to win with the People's Choice award! They will receive a gift certificate for a FREE GROOM at Whispering Whiskers Pet Spa and a Winners Certificate. Spectators will be able to vote on their favorite pooch before Best in Show begins. The results will be announced after Best in Show.

Things to know
Parking
Parking will be available in the Farm's Backyard. If it becomes full, we will ask that people park across the street at Waggin Wheels or in the development on Schwanger. We will have a path for you to get to the farm.

There will be volunteers helping direct people as best as we can.
Responsibility
Owners attending with their dogs are responsible for their dogs safety and behavior. Liability forms are expected to be signed at Check In. Yellow ribbons will be provided for dogs that need space. NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES. All leashes must be 6 feet and under. Dogs must be up to date with their vaccines.
Entries
You can pre enter your dog at this link. Please arrive between 12-12:30pm to check in at the check in table. Entries will be accepted day of until 12:30pm or until full.
